This is an absolutely horrendous adaptation. Japan keeps screwing Korea with terrible adaptations of their web novels. You guys have been animating for Japan for decades. It's time to part ways and animate you're own shows so you can be faithful to your works and give them the quality they deserve. This feud from WW2 needs to end. Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling this way? I already had my doubts about this anime back when the trailer dropped. I haven't read the manhwa, but right from episode one, so many things felt off. First off, the character designs are way too copy pasted from the manhwa to the point where they couldn't even adapt them properly for animation. First of all, I watched this manhwa adaptation using the Korean audio, and I suggest most of you do too. It has better audio than the Japanese version, as it is a full Korean production. The Japanese audio just doesn't sound quite right and lacks clarity at times.
