First appeared in Imagination Forest. A young man who belongs to the Mekakushi-dan and is from the same orphanage as Kido and Kano. He works as a florist at the shopping center as well as various other fields of work such as traffic control and newspaper delivery. He is also the person that invited Mary into the Mekakushi-dan. He is possessed by the Stealing Eyes snake. With it, he can read information from any target. However, he dislikes it because, "it's a power where you steal with glances, without needing communication," so he rarely uses it. He has a pet hamster named "Hanao." He also has a habit of wandering around where he shouldn't be.

[Spoiler] When he was very young, he did not have parents, and because he was small and easily frightened, he was unable to talk to the people around him and was bullied.

He had no friends, and treated an abandoned puppy as his only friend. Perhaps because of his environment, he began to wish that he could learn what people felt without using words.

One stormy day, he found the other nearby children trying to throw his puppy into a flooding river. Even though he resisted, the dog was thrown into the water, and he jumped in after it. He entered the Heat Haze and obtained his eye ability. [/Spoiler]
