Biografía

A civilian science expert recruited from the private sector to work with the W-0 unit.

[Spoiler] She and her husband were seeking to confirm their "BRS Theory," a theory that seems to propose the unification of human minds (or will) into one mind. This is similar to the goal of Lelouch's parents but on the technological scale. However, during one of their tests, her husband seems to have lost his mind but is kept alive, albeit comatose, in a hidden case in the W-0 base.

The theory was almost proven during Akito's rampage in episode 3, when his Geass united Ayano, Ryou, and Yukiya's emotions into his, which she calls a "brain raid." [/Spoiler]
