Makima is a Public Safety Devil Hunter.
[Spoiler] It's later revealed that Makima is, in actuality, the Control Devil. [/Spoiler]
[Spoiler] Makima is an extreme fan of the Chainsaw Devil, and by proxy Denji. Fascinated by its ability to wipe out the embodied concept of a devil when eating them, her goal is bringing the Chainsaw Devil under her control, using its power to create an "ideal" world without fears. [/Spoiler]
